the converted libuuid1 packages contains the following files: /emul/ia32-linux/lib/libuuid.so.1.2 /emul/ia32-linux/lib/libuuid.so.1 These are not visible to the loader: ldconfig -p |grep uuid libuuid.so.1 (libc6,x86-64) => /lib/libuuid.so.1 libuuid.so (libc6,x86-64) => /usr/lib/libuuid.so I guess they should end up in /lib32.
