it's a patch being worked on between myself and the upstream authors
to fix a bug, but apparently it's still b0rken. i had been holding
off on making an upload because the security update contained
in this release has not yet made it to testing, but i'm going to
go ahead and upload it because it's taking longer than it should
and in any case will only end up giving people a broken system.
