For me, that prints the document in question. This is not what the documentation claims --print=- should do, but that's not related to the crash described by the original submitter. I can only guess that abiword probably didn't print the document in question for you, then. But in your console-output snippet, I do not see anything crash-related. No abort, no segfault. What makes you think it's a crash? Please clarify this. In addition, please check whether you find the bug to persist in abiword SVN.
