Package: gsmartcontol
Version: 0.8.4-2
Severity: wishlist

On first run (or when Ctrl-R is hit) gsmartcontrol detects discs. It does so
probably just by displaying all avaible block devices which can be opened
in /dev/.

I propose two things:
blacklist 'device mapper' devices: dm.*
and 'multiple devices' md.*

I think that displaying them by default burdens everything.
Users which have configured so kind of raid can always add them using
Options menu.

Third thing is about Adding manually disks. I can add i.e. /dev/sdc,
but can't /dev/disk/by-id/scsi-SATA_HTS541XXXX_MPB2LAXXXXX
gsmartcontrol tells me the there is error. (and dont write what)

regards.
