At each logrotation, the apache proces seg faults and therefor dies The last message in the /var/log/apache/error.log.1: [Sun Jun 14 07:41:23 2009] [notice] Graceful restart requested, doing restart The first and only message in the error.log: [Sun Jun 14 07:41:23 2009] [notice] seg fault or similar nasty error detected in the parent proces Also when doing a manual graceful restart with apache2ctl graceful, the same thing happens: /etc/init.d/apache2 start [Mon Jun 15 21:01:40 2009] [warn] pid file /var/run/apache2.pid overwritten -- Unclean shutdown of previous Apache run?
