Package: gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg Version: 0.10.7.2-1 Severity: normal Hi,
The experimental version of gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg seems to break swfdec when it comes to playing back YouTube videos (and possibly other sites). I get this error message, afterwards the browser hangs: SWFDEC: ERROR: swfdec_video_decoder_gst.c(156): swfdec_video_decoder_gst_decode: failed to pull decoded buffer. Broken stream? Downgrading to the gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg version from unstable solves this problem. I'm not sure if this a GStreamer or swfdec bug, so please reassign if I filed it against the wrong package. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-trunk-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg depends on: ii libavcodec52 4:0.5+svn20090420-2 ffmpeg codec library ii libavformat52 4:0.5+svn20090420-2 ffmpeg file format library ii libavutil49 4:0.5+svn20090420-2 ffmpeg utility library ii libc6 2.9-14 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libglib2.0-0 2.20.3-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgstreamer-plugins 0.10.23-2 GStreamer libraries from the "base ii libgstreamer0.10-0 0.10.23-1 Core GStreamer libraries and eleme ii liboil0.3 0.3.16-1 Library of Optimized Inner Loops ii libpostproc51 4:0.5+svn20090420-2 ffmpeg video postprocessing librar ii libswscale0 4:0.5+svn20090420-2 ffmpeg video scaling library gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg recommends no packages. gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
