Great that you like packagesearch! Your bug is not SIDUX specific. I have recently opened a bug report for this (which I cc'ed): http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=532029 I guess the bugs occurs because konsole does not understand the command line parameters packagesearch is using any more. You could work aroung this by using another terminal emulator by default (xterm works fine). To do so you need to run: sudo update-alternatives --config x-terminal-emulator and select xterm. What terminal emulator are you using (i.e. what's the output of ll /etc/alternatives/x-terminal-emulator ? I am not sure if it works for SIDUX, but you could help us by reporting bugs via the "reportbug" tool in the first place. It provides documentation for your bug reports and includes information about the dependent/recommended packages installed.
