Package: util-linux
Version: 2.15.1~rc1-1
Severity: normal

Hello,

On upgrade to a home-compiled 2.6.30, hwclock stopped reading/writing
the clock, because /dev/rtc0 is not available anymore, only /dev/rtc,
because I have no use for multiple RTCs, and thus didn't enable
CONFIG_RTC_CLASS. Of course, I was able to change the HCTOSYS_DEVICE in
/etc/default/rcS, but I believe that might be a common pitfall and it's
not obvious without reading the init scripts. Maybe it should rather
default to rtc, as recent enough udev provides the symlink anyway?

Samuel
