Package: broadcom-sta-source
Version: 5.10.91.9-1
Severity: normal

Removing wl and then re-inserting the module leads
to a 100% reproducible hard system crash for me.
(On a Dell Mini 9)

IIRC, this used to work ok with older kernels, though
I was not using the packaged version of the module
at that time.
