This one I don't understand. What packages would you want fluidsynth to recommend ? I'm uploading a new alsa-enabled fluidsynth package to ftp queue (1.0.6-2), please give it a try: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/debian/iiwusynth/fluidsynth-1.0.6]$ fluidsynth -m alsa_seq -a alsa /home/eric/mm/audio/VintageDreamsWaves-v2.sf2 cca_open_socket: could not connect to host 'localhost', service '14541' cca_init: could not connect to server 'localhost' - disabling ladcca fluidsynth: warning: Ignoring sample SineWave: can't use ROM samples fluidsynth: warning: Requested a period size of 64, got 940 instead fluidsynth: ALSA driver: Using format s16, rw, interleaved [...] And confirm it's doing what you want it to do.
