Yes I did; it uses a different format then the original mirror file has and also it has two templates for data files (Debian and Ubuntu) so it makes quite ugly to use something during build for auto-updating. While looking at it, I've found the scripts at util for update the mirror data. The script responsable to update the Debian mirrors was not properly handling the current webpage format and then I've fixed it to properly support it and updated the mirror list.
