Package: fcitx Version: 1:3.6.0~rc-0.1 Severity: critical Tags: l10n Justification: breaks the whole system
Suddenly emacs/rxvt-unicode and other programs freeze, I notice it's fcitx having 90%+ CPU usage, on tty1 I saw it repeatedly gives "fcitx -- got signal number NO. 11". "pkill -9 fcitx" only stops fcitx but doesn't resume the freezed programs. There is basically no solution without killing all affected programs. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.29-2-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages fcitx depends on: ii libc6 2.9-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libx11-6 2:1.2.1-1 X11 client-side library ii libxft2 2.1.13-3 FreeType-based font drawing librar ii libxpm4 1:3.5.7-1 X11 pixmap library Versions of packages fcitx recommends: ii im-switch 1.16 Input method switch framework ii ttf-arphic-ukai 0.2.20080216.1-1 "AR PL UKai" Chinese Unicode TrueT ii ttf-arphic-uming 0.2.20080216.1-3 "AR PL UMing" Chinese Unicode True fcitx suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
