Because the differences to the running Gameport in Knoppix 5.1.1 are not
explained plausible.
The other reason is that only you can tell me why this can't be a udev problem.
I don't have enough knowledge about udev and kernel-driver at all.
It is correct that this bug should also be adressed to the kernel modules.

So it is your opinion that debian just need to support hardware that you have?
That really like the behaviour of Microsoft - sorry. ;-)

Yes - when the people who could solve the problem are not willing to help, the
users must guess how to solve it.
(That's also like using Microsoft)

How should i know if they are autoloaded?

In which README?
There are thousands of README's and no specially for the analog kernel module

NOBODY has an idea - that's the reason for clueless discussions.
So only some people with the roght knowledge can say WHY this happens.

Most not all. That's the reason why it is working in knoppix.
AND in ALL OTHER distributions.
This is also a reason why you cannot argue with "1992".

> The complete definition of js* is missing !!!
I do not know what this means as well.

The right device for a gameport device is js0, js1, ...
So the appearance of '/class/input/input1' is the main question and the hint to
the
bug!

Will you leave all this clueless users alone in the future with this problem?
Or will you say that they should use something else like Suse?
