Unfortunately I cannot reproduce it on my machine.

The bug _might_ be related to this java version. I've tested jabref
with both openjdk-6-jre (6b16-2) and sun-java6-jre (6-14-1) from
unstable, and both work fine.

May I suggest that you either try with openjdk-6-jre or with
sun-java6-jre 6-14-1 (should enter testing in about 2 days) and
report back?

To choose the JVM you can use:
$ JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun jabref
$ JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk jabref

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
gregor
