Package: pidgin-musictracker Version: 0.4.13-1 Severity: wishlist
The latest version of musictracker supports Amarok 2 via dbus instead of the deprecated dcop. The dbus interface seems to work much better under KDE 4. In particular, pidgin frequently stalls to poll when musictracker 0.4.13 plugin is enabled. Such stalling can last up to five seconds. The latest version 0.4.18 does not appear to suffer this problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers oldstable APT policy: (500, 'oldstable'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.29-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages pidgin-musictracker depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 1.26.0-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.9-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.8.6-2+b1 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libdbus-1-3 1.2.14-2 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.80-4 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libglib2.0-0 2.20.3-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.16.2-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.24.2-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpcre3 7.8-2 Perl 5 Compatible Regular Expressi pidgin-musictracker recommends no packages. pidgin-musictracker suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
