Package: evolution Version: 2.26.2-2 Severity: important Since upgrading evolution from 2.22 to 2.26, mail operations in general (and switching between folders in particular) have become many times slower than they used to be.
Specifically, I have two commonly-used IMAP folders which each contain a fairly large number of emails: about 200,000 in one and about 100,000 in the other. With the old evolution, I could switch between these folders almost instantly (so long as the message headers were already cached locally, of course). In the new version, changing between these two folders takes about a minute. This is sufficiently bad as to make evolution almost unusable since the upgrade. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
