Let's see... (1) You'll have to discuss it with Luca - I tried this at one point and he reversed out my patches. (2) Fixed paths make it much easier to code ntop so that we don't have to worry about directory traversal issues. All pages are either in ../html, it's subdirectories or are generated internally (and it's that last that makes it a pain to track relative paths). As to how hard, not technically difficult, but not easy either. The /s are all throughout the code, but it shouldn't be THAT hard to make it a #define parameter. That could cause a rash of tiny bugs as other stuff gets exposed via relative paths, esp. WRT plugins. -----Burton -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Ola Lundqvist Sent: Tuesday, July 05, 2005 3:27 AM To: ntop-dev@Unipi.IT Subject: Re: [Ntop-dev] [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Bug#316886: NTop Bugs] On Mon, Jul 04, 2005 at 05:12:01PM -0500, Burton Strauss wrote: > What - that ntop uses absolute paths? That's the way it's coded... Ok I see. In this case it become a problem. I marked this bug as a wishlist bug (as it is a new feature) though. Would it be hard to change this to non-absolute? It could also be seen as a bug in the apache proxy.
