Package: libgksu2-0
Version: 2.0.10-1
Severity: normal

When /etc/sudoers has the "Defaults requiretty" setting enabled, it
breaks Gksu because (obviously) sudo will not run if stdin is not a
terminal. This setting is enabled by default on non-Debian platforms
like Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.

According to Gustavo, we already have this handled for su because it has
the same check, and instead of creating a pipe we use forkpty(). He says
that code can be cloned to work for sudo as well. (The best idea is
probably to just genericize the forkpty() code and have both
gksu_su_fuller and gksu_sudo_fuller use it.)

Thanks!

currently wearing my VMware hat ;))
