Hello Marcus, I have looked at doing that, but the problem is that JackRabbit depends on the JCR api, and this is not free software as far as I can tell.
The Maven POM for the JCR API is: http://repository.sonatype.org/service/local/repositories/central-proxy/content/javax/jcr/jcr/1.0.1/jcr-1.0.1.pom and it redirects to this license: http://www.day.com/maven/jsr170/licenses/day-spec-license.htm I have already packaged the latest version of wagon, but I had to remove the webdav support because of this issue.
