You're not doing anything wrong.

It's just that 0.99g5-5 is broken but the Release Manager team opposed
unblocking 0.99g5-7 (which fixes this issue) to include it on time for
Lenny.

You can partially blame specific people from the debian-russian
mailing list for this, because some of them deviated the discussion
from confirming whether 0.99g5-7 fixes the broken behavior into a
discussion about whether YO spellings should be included at all, in
their messages to the RM list.
