Hi Wesley!

A while ago I asked you about switching to the cryptsetup-luks
upstream. In Ubuntu I did that a while ago, users are happy about it
and I just uploaded the newest release 1.0.1 into Ubuntu. A
cryptsetup-supporting pmount is now in Debian experimental and will go
to unstable as soon as the hal/dbus transition is complete, so the
only missing thing for encrypted removable storage support is the LUKS
extension of pmount.

I will now also add some goodies (a script to easily create and format
an encrypted partition, a better init script, and so on).

Thanks for considering,

Martin
