Hi!
It would be nice if the long description of your package could consist
of full sentences[1]. I suggest to replace the first part like this:

build binary packages from source packages. buildd schedules work

Not sure if the "was written by" should be an "is written by" - or
wether that information is in the copyright file anyway and might get
removed from the package description if it's not there for big curtsey.
