Package: surfraw Version: 2.2.4-1 Severity: normal
If the argument to surfraw matches several bookmarks, all are passed to the browser seperated by newlines. This confuses all browsers I currently have installed, which treat them as a single URL. Though I suspect the intention is to only have a single match. For example, sr -browser=echo a with the following bookmarks: a a ab b ca c outputs: a b c -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages surfraw depends on: ii dillo [www-browser] 2.0-1 Small and fast web browser ii iceweasel [www-browser] 3.0.9-1 lightweight web browser based on M ii lynx 2.8.7pre1-1 Text-mode WWW Browser (transitiona ii lynx-cur [www-browser] 2.8.7pre1-1 Text-mode WWW Browser with NLS sup ii netrik [www-browser] 1.15.7-2.1 text mode WWW browser with vi like ii w3m [www-browser] 0.5.2-2+b1 WWW browsable pager with excellent Versions of packages surfraw recommends: ii surfraw-extra 2.2.4-1 extra surfraw search tools with he ii w3m 0.5.2-2+b1 WWW browsable pager with excellent Versions of packages surfraw suggests: ii screen 4.0.3-13 terminal multiplexor with VT100/AN -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
