Package: bugs.debian.org Severity: normal (I don't know if bugs about reportbug.debian.org should get filed against bugs.debian.org or somewhere else; please let me know and I can reassign if necessary.)
I use reportbug.debian.org:587 for reportbug and for the "bts" script from devscripts (BTS_SMTP_HOST=reportbug.debian.org:587 in ~/.devscripts). I also do a lot of bug triage, forwarding, filing, and so on. Recently, I started getting intermittent error messages from bts, and I found out that reportbug.debian.org gives 451 errors with a comment saying "only 5 reports per hour". Considering that this counts each individual mail to cont...@bugs.debian.org, this seems woefully insufficient for even moderate bug triage activities. Please consider increasing this limit significantly, or removing it. - Josh Triplett -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.29-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
