abnt2 kmap doesn't seem to have a keycode 97, so my guess would be
that it wouldn't be affected, but I don't have a real abnt2 to test
it. There's a thinkpad variant on X, though I don't really understand
how keyboard maps work on X. I'm not sure how relevant this is, but
here is my keyboard entry on xorg.conf:
