Package: totem-mozilla Version: 2.26.2-1 Severity: normal
In this computer iceweasel will offr to download files such as http://www.archive.org/download/CollserolaDesDeLEcologia/Collserola_des_de_l_ecologia.ogv You can either save to disk or open in totem or vlc, but that's after downloading them full, you can't watch them as they download. In another computer with a less up-to-date sid (totem-mozilla is 2.24 ) totem plays the file inside the browser, starting right away (streaming, not after download). It looks like the totem-mozilla plugin (as well as mplayer, kaffeine, and vlx browser plugins) don't associate themselves with .ogv files or video/ogg streams. I tired to download and install totem-mozilla from testing in this computer, but it didn't work either. But at least totem used to do it in the past. Thank you very much for your work. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.28usb (PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=ca_ES, LC_CTYPE=ca_ES (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages totem-mozilla depends on: ii dbus-x11 1.2.14-2 simple interprocess messaging syst ii totem-gstreamer 2.26.2-1 A simple media player for the GNOM ii totem-xine 2.26.2-1 A simple media player for the GNOM Versions of packages totem-mozilla recommends: ii epiphany-browser 2.26.1-1 Intuitive web browser - dummy pack ii epiphany-gecko [www-br 2.26.1-1 Intuitive GNOME web browser - Geck ii iceape-browser [www-br 1.1.14-1 Iceape Navigator (Internet browser ii iceweasel [www-browser 3.0.9-1 lightweight web browser based on M ii konqueror [www-browser 4:3.5.10.dfsg.1-2 KDE's advanced file manager, web b ii lynx-cur [www-browser] 2.8.7pre2-1 Text-mode WWW Browser with NLS sup ii w3m [www-browser] 0.5.2-2+b1 WWW browsable pager with excellent totem-mozilla suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
