Package: installer Version: ? Upon installing Debian Squeeze using http://eeepc.debian.net/debian/images/debian-eeepc.img (downloaded May, 22) I encountered a:
Base system installation error The debootstrap program exited with an error (return value 1). Check /var/log/syslog or see virtual console 4 for the details. On console 4: May 22 22:37:10 debootstrap: E: NOSCRIPT May 22 22:37:10 debootstrap: EA: /usr/share/debootstrap/scripts/squeeze May 22 22:37:10 debootstrap: EF: No such script: %s It seems that the script needed to install the base system is missing. I tried to solve the problem by renaming /usr/share/debootstrap/scripts/lenny to /usr/share/debootstrap/scripts/squeeze. The installation finished succesful, but the new system wouldn't boot (it stopped halfway during initrd, leaving me an empty prompt).
