Package: apt-cacher-ng Version: 0.3.11-1 Severity: important Hello, When trying to fetch some packages apt-cacher-ng already has in its cache, apt dies with the following:
Get:18 http://ftp.fr.debian.org sid/main libxfixes3 1:4.0.3-2 [10.8kB] E: Method http has died unexpectedly! apt-get failed. When removing /var/cacher/apt-cacher-ng/..../libx and retrying to fetch the package, it works correctly. However, any further attempt to fetch this package will fail again. I can reproduce this bug with very specific packages, namely libxfixes and libgsf. Please let me know if there's any further information I can provide in order to help finding where this issue comes from. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (100, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.29-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages apt-cacher-ng depends on: ii adduser 3.110 add and remove users and groups ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.5-1 high-quality block-sorting file co ii libc6 2.9-12 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libfuse2 2.7.4-1.1 Filesystem in USErspace library ii libgcc1 1:4.4.0-5 GCC support library ii libstdc++6 4.4.0-5 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-13 compression library - runtime Versions of packages apt-cacher-ng recommends: ii ed 0.7-3 The classic unix line editor ii perl 5.10.0-22 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction apt-cacher-ng suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
