        Could you check that you are using "fsoptions=uid=1000"
rather than "opts=..." in your /etc/cryptmount/cmtab?

        I've had a quick look at the parser within cryptmount-4.0
and can't see any obvious reasons why using "fsoptions" with a parameter
that includes an equals sign shouldn't work. I've also tried a test
on my installation of cryptmount-4.0, which produced no parser complaints.

        If you can try with the "fsoptions" used as specified in
the cmtab manual-page, and give me a few more details about *how* that fails
(e.g. parser failure, mount failure, mount options not correctly applied, etc.)
that would be very helpful.
