tag 416126 + patch confirmed -- Hi,
I have also noticed this issue for a while, but hadn't looked for a bug report yet. I'm not particularly familiar with the code, but the new patch suggested in the Ubuntu bug[0] seems to deal with the issue in a less aggressive way and without having to hardcode the first monitor as default, as in the current 03_fix_xinerama_stack_c.patch. I've tested it and it seems to solve the issue at hand, but unfortunately I'm not using Xinerama, so I can't confirm the old problem[1] hasn't reappeared. Could someone please test with a Xinerama setup? To ease potential testers' lives, the amd64 package with the new patch and no other changes is here[2]. :) Cheers [0] https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/notification-daemon/+bug/45544/comments/21 [1] https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/notification-daemon/+bug/31433 [2] http://people.debian.org/~costela/packages/ -- Leo "costela" Antunes [insert a witty retort here] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
