tag 416126 + patch confirmed
--

Hi,

I have also noticed this issue for a while, but hadn't looked for a bug
report yet.

I'm not particularly familiar with the code, but the new patch suggested
in the Ubuntu bug[0] seems to deal with the issue in a less aggressive
way and without having to hardcode the first monitor as default, as in
the current 03_fix_xinerama_stack_c.patch.
I've tested it and it seems to solve the issue at hand, but
unfortunately I'm not using Xinerama, so I can't confirm the old
problem[1] hasn't reappeared. Could someone please test with a Xinerama
setup?

To ease potential testers' lives, the amd64 package with the new patch
and no other changes is here[2]. :)

Cheers
