Package: boinc Version: 6.4.5-1 Severity: important Hi!
Trying to connect to the World Community Grid project I am getting the message "Scheduler request failed: Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with known CA certificates" My ca-certificates package version is 20081127 and even reinstalling it didn't help. However, downloading http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/export/16195/trunk/boinc/curl/ca-bundle.crt and saving it as /var/lib/boinc-client/ca-bundle.crt did work (/var/lib/boinc-client/ca-bundle.crt originally is a symlink to /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt) http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/Error/Scheduler%20request%20failed says that this error can be caused by incorrect date or a proxy, but this is not the case with this machine (and I can reproduce it; using the ca-bundle.crt as symlink to /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt, it fails. Using ca-bundle.crt downloaded from their site, it works). Is there something else that I can do, please? Thank you!
