Package: gnote Version: 0.3.1-6 Severity: wishlist Hi,
if I'm counting correctly, gnote as of version 0.3.1-6 depends on 43 packages. I recompiled gnote and added LDFLAGS += -Wl,--as-needed in debian/rules, which cuts this list almost in half (as you can see in this bug report, i.e. 22). Having such a shortened dependency list will make future library transitions much easier. I had to update m4/boost.m4 in order for this to work, otherwise ./configure fails.
