Thanks Kurt. I will hold the revised package until the C++ change has
begun.

Should I reassign the bug to g++-3.3 or just wait to see if it goes away

Yes you could, and some people would do that. But I'd prefer a
bug on both packages about it, so that people can easily known
why the package failed to build. And since g++-3.3 already has
such a bug, there is really is no need to reassign this.
If you are willing to test it out just to be sure, the new package's
files are at:
It's still failing to build, but it does build with g++-4.0. So
this will solve itself soon, since we are about to do a C++ ABI
transition, and every C++ application needs to be rebuild using
g++-4.0. I suggest you close the bug at that time.
I think you should upload this change anyway, but not just yet.
After the C++ ABI change has started, the boost and libwxgtk2.4
will change their name, and you'll have to be linked to the new
name. Also, we're currently in freeze for C++ applications
because of this.
Once the changed boost and wxgtk2.4 have made it to the
archive, you could upload your package. I suggest you contact
your sponsor at that time.
