Here is where the packaging stands for me - packaging libfunambol client stack is done, although not tested - I got stalled on syncevolution with some problems related to libfunambol not being built in the same tree. - syncevolution has slipped down my packaging queue behind other stuff more related to $REAL_JOB, but I haven't given up on it. I do wonder if there is enough other motivation to put the funambol stack into debian if it is not going to be used by syncevolution.
