Subject: util-vserver remove routes after stopping a vserver
Package: util-vserver
Version: 0.30.216~r2772-6
Severity: important

Hi,

My host has an eth0 interface:

eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:e0:4c:f0:08:00 inet adr:192.168.0.254 Bcast:192.168.0.255 Masque:255.255.255.0
         adr inet6: fe80::2e0:4cff:fef0:800/64 Scope:Lien
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
         RX packets:55858 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
         TX packets:46026 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
         collisions:0 lg file transmission:1000
         RX bytes:56173640 (53.5 MiB) TX bytes:9105322 (8.6 MiB)
         Interruption:18 Adresse de base:0x400

I create a vserver with:

vserver base build -m debootstrap --hostname base --interface eth0:192.168.0.254/24 -- -d lenny -m ftp://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian

util-vserver silently removes routes for this interface when:
- the vserver is stopped.
- the creation of a vserver fails.
- the creation works.

workaround:

echo nodev > /etc/vservers/$name/0/dev

Best regards,
Mathieu Goessens
