Make sure you configure manually the keyboard layouts (in the keyboard settings). Check/uncheck the “use X default”, and carefuly re-choose the model and layout. By default, it autodetects the settings (which may indeed be correct) and re-apply them at each login, which means the shortcuts are invalided and you have to re-set it.
