Package: jabberd14 Version: 1.6.1.1-1 Severity: normal There is a lot of info in README.Debian about things being moved around, config files changing format, etc. It would be good to use NEWS.Debian to document these.
BTW, once change I don't see mentioned that seemed to affect me is that the daemon runs as user jabberd, not jabber now. All my old data files were owned by jabber user. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-6-xen-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages jabberd14 depends on: ii adduser 3.110 add and remove users and groups ii libc6 2.9-9 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.4.0-3 GCC support library ii libidn11 1.14-3 GNU Libidn library, implementation ii libjabberd2 1.6.1.1-1 Runtime library for the Jabber/XMP ii libmysqlclient15off 5.0.77-1 MySQL database client library ii libpopt0 1.14-4 lib for parsing cmdline parameters ii libpq5 8.3.7-1 PostgreSQL C client library ii libpth20 2.0.7-12 The GNU Portable Threads ii libstdc++6 4.4.0-3 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii lsb-base 3.2-22 Linux Standard Base 3.2 init scrip ii openssl 0.9.8g-16 Secure Socket Layer (SSL) binary a jabberd14 recommends no packages. jabberd14 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- see shy jo -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
