Package: lintian Version: 2.2.10 Severity: normal Hi,
Lintian produces this informational point: I: build-depends-without-arch-dep quilt And explains that the only packages that should be listed in the Build-Depends are those needed to run the clean target, like debhelper. Unless I am missing something, quilt or dpatch will always need to be run in the clean target to unpatch the source. Therefore, I think that quilt (and presumably dpatch) should be added to the shortlist of packages that do not trigger this warning.
