I've got a similar problem, but I can't get a backtrace. When iceweasel starts it opens a window but hangs without drawing any contents and it doesn't produce a significant CPU load. Downgrading to libc6 2.9-9 makes it work. This might be specific to amd64 or at least 64-bit.
