I was unable to patch gnome or compile Xvnc with fine X extensions. I got an 'easy' alternative with x11vnc.
I put a notice online at : http://www.isc.cnrs.fr/informatique/public_notice/x11vnc To replace Xvnc/inetd by a script wrap for x11vnc+Xvfb. Sylvain MAURIN
