Package: gnuplot
Severity: important

Having a compiler (gnuplot compiles gnuplot-source into plottings) depend on
desktop stuff is gross. The transition to wxgtk assumes the user to have a
full-blown desktop environment, including dbus and shitty gconfd runnning.

The alternative is to have no X output at all. I'd appreciate it very much to
have gnuplot with much less dependencies.
