It seems like this package should create a symlink /usr/bin/gmcs. The
package monodevelop tries to call that binary and fails, because it does
not exist. But /usr/bin/gmcs2 does.

Alternatively Monodevelop should offer an option to specify the compiler
binary name. If you think this is more applicable, please reassign then.
