I don't think I get the problem. I'm using Liferea 1.6.0rc1 (which is very
similar to 1.5.15) and Liferea doesn't scale e.g. XKCD when the comic doesn't
fit in the Liferea window; it just adds scrollbars so that I can read the entire
comic.

Your screenshot shows that too, Liferea hasn't scaled it AFAICS. If it did, the
text would probably  become unreadable.

Can you clarify the problem to me? Also, is this a regression from 1.4?
