I really can't figure out how am I expected to configure the vboxnet0 interface on the host pc. That interface isn't ifupped at start - or when a guest machine is started -, and doesn't get any IP address. The vboxnetflt module is loaded in rc[2-5].d - not in rcS.d, where the networking initscript could care ifup -, then I can't setup the iface in /e/n/i cleanly: the only way I could find (could'n find any info even googling around) has been adding vboxnetflt in /etc/modules and setup a /e/n/i stanza, but: - at shutdown the interface gets destroyed by the virtualbox init script, which simply unloads the module from behind; - the virtualbox graphical network configuration is useless since /e/n/i can't be written by simple users. Please add some explanation somewhere.
