What version of ffmpeg does xbmc include? I think a lot of trouble can be avoided if a version is integrated that is shared by debian and other ffmpeg downstreams. Since version 0.5 was released recently, that would be a good candidate. In fact, Debian tracks the 0.5 release branch of ffmpeg, and will probably keep tracking it for quite some time. > As with the FHS issue, I think this will be a trivial fix anyway so once xbmc > uses system libs, then an upload to Debian will surely follow soon. > > For anyone wondering, there's a 99.9% chance there won't be an upload for the > release of XBMC 9.04 to Debian. :-( how often/frequently does xbmc release? is there a roadmap? http://xbmc.org gives me a 500 - Internal Server Error ATM. -- Gruesse/greetings, Reinhard Tartler, KeyID 945348A4 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
