Fifteen to 20 packages were upgraded, anything on the original console scrolled off to oblivion. I looked in dpkg.log, and seen nothing there. I looked in syslog, and seen nothing. I checked the database, maybe that was the problem. But as I mentioned in the first note, it is a 107 database. I can run apt-get install snort over and over, and I continue to get the same minimal message and nothing in the logs which is useful.
