Maybe try:
        setxkbmap -rules evdev -model macbook79 -layout us -variant mac -option 
"" -option "compose:rwin,eurosign:e,apple:goodmap" -print | xkbcomp - :0

but I’m not sure “macbook79” corresponds to the model you selected.
