Hi Antonio > Maybe this thread > > https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pyqwt5/+bug/342782 > > on ubuntu bug-tracker can help. Thanks. I have been testing. In fact the python-qwt5-qt4 compiles with qwt5.1.2 but not python-qwt5-qt3. The compilation fails with the following error message: sip: QApplication has ctors with the same Python signature SIP failed to generate the C++ code. I cannot release a Debian package unless I have python-qwt5-qt3 support as well but I can make an unofficial one. It will fix my problems and yours most probably as well. The python-qt3 3.17.4 fails to build from source with the same error message as python-qwt5-qt3 but python-qt3 3.17.6 (in experimental) compiles without problems. However I couldn't find out what made the difference and I didn't get any answer on the pyqt mailing list.
I will fix an unofficial package during the week and if you know how to solve the problem, please tell me :) Cheers Gudjon -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
