Package: gnome-panel Version: 2.26.0-1 Severity: normal I recently upgraded gnome-panel, gnome-panel-data, and libpanel-applet2-0 to the versions in experimental (2.26.0-1) to fix that extremly annoying bug that the current unstable version does not allow vertical notification areas (#520918).
Well, one does never get what one wants, now the "shutdown" button is greyed out and does not respond to anything. Is there some magic setup root has to do to make that button work again, or is it simply not supported in gnome 2.26 to shutdown the computer from a running session?
