Package: fluxbox Version: 0.9.12-1 Severity: important
When trying to start firefox/thunderbird from fluxbox, processes are spawned and the programs run, but no windows are drawn. When not starting from an xterm, it seems as if firefox/thunderbird didn't start at all, they only appear in the process list. When firefox/thunderbird happen to spawn a dialog box with an OK button (e.g. when a connection is refused) this dialog window IS shown, but still not the application it came from. Other gtk2 apps work fine. Other gecko based browsers like epiphany work fine. Problem arose after an apt-get dist-upgrade about a month or so ago; it used to work. The gnome settings daemon is running, but in gnome itself firefox/thunderbird work fine. The only other app started with fluxbox is gkrellm. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-deb64 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages fluxbox depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libfontconfig1 2.3.2-1 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.1.10-1 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libgcc1 1:4.0.0-9 GCC support library ii libice6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libimlib2 1.2.0-2.2 powerful image loading and renderi ii libsm6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14 X Window System Session Management ii libstdc++5 1:3.3.6-7 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxft2 2.1.7-1 FreeType-based font drawing librar ii libxpm4 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14 X pixmap library ii libxrandr2 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14 X Window System Resize, Rotate and ii libxrender1 1:0.9.0-2 X Rendering Extension client libra ii menu 2.1.25 generates programs menu for all me ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14 X Keyboard Extension (XKB) configu ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4 compression library - runtime fluxbox recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
